Fall Is Coming
As you prepare for the Kiddos and Grandchildren to return to school, you know that Fall is right around the corner. Part of Fall is remembering Men’s health during “Movember.”
Ladies, don’t fight it; After all, it is for a great cause: Men’s Health.
I offer a few ‘tips’ to prepare you both for his “Movember” celebration:
- A man’s mustache grows about a half-inch per month.
- His mustache will get softer as it gets longer.
- If he wants (you want) to get his mustache super soft (touchable & kissable), he can use a cream rinse when he’s in the shower (but that’s just a simple, quick fix…keep reading).
- However, if he wants (you want) both a soft touch and a super scent, I have some other product recommendations: premium beard and mustache oils.
WHY USE PREMIUM BEARD & MUSTACHE OILS? Premium beard and mustache oils are made with all-natural ingredients. All-natural ingredients are important, not just because they make his beard smell good or look soft and shiny. The primary reason all-natural ingredients matter is they are required to grow a long, healthy, and beautiful beard (these all-natural oils actually seal in the moisture in the hair).
What are some of the all-natural ingredients to look for? Look for oils like jojoba, grapeseed, and argan oil that can be effectively mixed with other essential oils to deliver a very clean scent, too.
Jojoba oil is a magic ingredient. Jojoba oil has been used by Native Americans for many years. Among the benefits are its non-toxic and hypoallergenic properties. Since Jojoba oil is the closest ‘match’ to the body’s natural oil Sebum, it enhances his beard’s natural oils. When he works Premium Beard containing Jojoba oil through his beard and mustache hairs, the hydration goes straight to the hair follicle and seals in moisture.
Grapeseed Oil (GSO). This is one of the lightest natural oils (and one of the most inexpensive, too), so it’s a perfect starting point, even for those with sensitive skin types. Another benefit is that Grapeseed Oil (GSO) is rich in anti-oxidants. Fair warning though, Gents, not only will your lady want to take a bite out of your new glow, you will also be very attractive to mosquitoes!
Argan Oil. This is a nut oil, and it is also light. Argan Oil has tissue healing properties, anti-inflammatory properties, sun-protective properties, and it is also high in disinfectant properties. It also contains high levels of Vitamin E, antioxidants, and saponins (skin-softening agents).
The Importance of Hydrating Hair Follicles. This fundamental step of hydrating the hair follicles at the root keeps his facial hair healthy as it promotes growth. The added benefit is hydration of his skin, which can become dry and itchy under a thick beard. Proper hydration helps to prevent dry, itchy skin. Too, proper skin hydration prevents beard flakes (beard dandruff). Ain’t nobody got time for that; Am I right, Ladies?
Premium Beard Oil is a necessary essential for today’s bearded man. Whether for the “Movember” celebration, or for the year-round look, the hydrating ingredients of Premium Beard Oil helps promote growth and keeps his beard hairs lubricated and soft (and prevents beard breakage).
Beard breakage? Yes, as his beard grows longer, the ends of his beard hair can become dry and brittle. Eventually, these damaged ends can simply break (and fall off). As his beard grows, the hair is moves farther away from his skin, the ‘source’ of his natural oils.

How To Apply Premium Beard Oils. To properly use Premium Beard oil, pour a dime-sized amount into one palm, then distribute over the palms & fingers of both hands. Then apply the oil directly to the skin under your beard (start the hydration process at the source), and gently work the remaining oil through the rest of your beard and mustache (carefully, so he doesn’t twist the hairs). During this application process is the best time to gently brush (or comb) the oils through the beard.
How Often Should He Use Premium Beard Oils? How often he uses Premium Beard oil might depend on how oily or dry his skin is. Too, the temperature and humidity (as well as water hardness) are factors. So, applying Premium Bear Oils daily to every three days is a starting point, adjusting as these other factors change.
