Ladies, Get Checked!

Breast Cancer Screening

General practitioners (GPs) recommend breast cancer screenings every two years for women between the ages of 50-74. Mammograms help doctors catch cancers early when they are easier to treat and the chances of survival are high. However, researchers say despite their well-stabilized effectiveness, many women still take a “rain check.”

Please, Ladies, speaking from recent personal experience, I urge each and every one of you to just do it: Ladies, Get Checked!

  • Reminder….
  • Get your mammogram!
  • Got mine…came back “not good
  • Got ultrasound “not good
  • Got biopsy “not good” (Cancer Cells)
  • Got smaller-than-golf-ball-sized lumpectomy: 3-inch scar.
  • Doctor feels he got it all!
  • Don’t let it go!
  • Fortunately, I have a good friend (Thank you Cheryl Hill) who yearly reminds me!
  • And Blessed—once again—from a Heavenly Father who answers prayers.

I have been Truly Blessed with a career as a Master Stylist for decades now. Thanks to early detection, I endeavor to continue for more decades to come!
