Ladies, Get Checked!
General practitioners (GPs) recommend breast cancer screenings every two years for women between the ages of 50-74. Mammograms help doctors catch cancers early when they are easier to treat and the chances of survival are high. However, researchers say despite their well-stabilized effectiveness, many women still take a “rain check.”
Please, Ladies, speaking from recent personal experience, I urge each and every one of you to just do it: Ladies, Get Checked!
- Reminder….
- Get your mammogram!
- Got mine…came back “not good“
- Got ultrasound “not good“
- Got biopsy “not good” (Cancer Cells)
- Got smaller-than-golf-ball-sized lumpectomy: 3-inch scar.
- Doctor feels he got it all!
- Don’t let it go!
- Fortunately, I have a good friend (Thank you Cheryl Hill) who yearly reminds me!
- And Blessed—once again—from a Heavenly Father who answers prayers.
